Sorted..... after hours of searching.... They omitted to say that you had to
'reset' all subscribed newsgroups because the id numbers are different so
the server doesn't know what to do. Three hours down the pan :(

With all the other people complaining about the same thing, with
other news servers for over a year? Earthlink did it twice. First, the
outsourced to Earthlink last August, then Giganews borged Supernews
recently and you didn't notice anyone stating that they had to
resubscribe to every newsgroup they read, to reset them.

Better keep a message-id <- > id-number backup list for those moments :)
